The top 100 boy names of 2025 were given to 142,577 babies — about 47.5% of all boys named that year(down from 47.8% in 2024). Of the names that ranked in both years, 41 climbed, 51 fell, and 13 held steady.
The 10 most popular boy names of 2025 were Muhammad, Noah, Luca, Leo, Oliver, Arthur, George, Oscar, Freddie, and Theodore.
The biggest rising trend was Vinnie, which jumped 38 spots from #98 to #60. The biggest fall belonged to Ollie, which slid 25 places from #84 to #109. By raw birth count, Luca picked up the most babies (+15.5%), while Jude lost the most (-14.3%).
Yahya, Milo, Cody, Vincent, and Cooper broke into the top 100 for the first time, while Ollie, Bobby, Blake, Brody, and Brodie fell out of the rankings.
Muhammad held the #1 boy name spot in 2025 — its 3rd straight year at #1, a streak that began in 2023.
