The UK's 2025 baby name data is out! Combining birth registrations from England & Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, here's how the top 100 girl names trended in 2025.

The top 100 girl names of 2025 were given to 111,157 babies — about 39.9% of all girls named that year(down from 40.5% in 2024). Of the names that ranked in both years, 53 climbed, 43 fell, and 8 held steady.

The 10 most popular girl names of 2025 were Olivia, Lily, Amelia, Isla, Freya, Florence, Poppy, Elsie, Ivy, and Isabella.

The biggest rising trend was Eliana, which jumped 60 spots from #124 to #64. The biggest fall belonged to Bonnie, which slid 34 places from #13 to #47. By raw birth count, Mabel picked up the most babies (+37.5%), while Bonnie lost the most (-43.8%).

Eliana, Anaya, Athena, and Alba broke into the top 100 for the first time, while Jessica, Molly, Lucy, and Anna fell out of the rankings.

Olivia held the #1 girl name spot in 2025 — its 10th straight year at #1, a streak that began in 2016.
