The top 100 boy names of 2025 were given to 649,546 babies — about 38.0% of all boys named that year(up from 38.0% in 2024). Of the names that ranked in both years, 41 climbed, 56 fell, and 9 held steady.
The 10 most popular boy names of 2025 were Liam, Noah, Oliver, Theodore, Henry, James, Elijah, Mateo, William, and Lucas.
The biggest rising trend was Eithan, which jumped 130 spots from #227 to #97. The biggest fall belonged to Christian, which slid 19 places from #77 to #96. By raw birth count, Eithan picked up the most babies (+128.2%), while Liam lost the most (-6.1%).
Atlas, Adriel, Arthur, Emiliano, Eithan, and Archer broke into the top 100 for the first time, while Eli, Amir, Jaxon, Parker, Colton, and Adam fell out of the rankings.
Liam held the #1 boy name spot in 2025 — its 9th straight year at #1, a streak that began in 2017.
